Why donations are needed

The Maria & Martha Hospice is and will be dependent on donations to cover the costs of its construction and ongoing operation.

Why? We are happy to provide transparent information about this. The financing of our facility is made up of the company capital required when it was founded, as well as funding from the state, an investment grant from the city of Neumünster and the daily rates from the health insurance companies. In total, however, neither initially nor with a view to the future will the required 100% of the necessary funds be achieved. The health insurance funds will only cover 95% of the running costs in the future, so that 5% will have to be raised by the company itself.

The additional funds made available through donations are therefore not used to finance special extras, but to close a gap in order to secure the hospice's operations, the care of our guests and the associated jobs in the long term.
